Cody and Beth are playing a secret number game. Beth's number is [12,24,49] smaller than Cody's number. What might their numbers be?

Hmmmm....
The problem did not work very well.
This took a LOT of driving from me. I had to individually visit each group and assist them. With a prompt: what might his number be, just guess or choose one.
Didn't do this up front because I wanted them to figure it out.....but....might of had too.
I think that if I had given them a second chance at this, this question there would have been a much lager range of responses, and might have been quite productive.
We were interrupted and missed out on the discussion at the end which did not help.
But, I decided to move on.
